About the Opportunity

The Senior Marketing Lead is responsible for designing effective visual communication and marketing campaigns that support our internal brand, increase awareness and recognition of Council initiatives in the community, and promote a professional public image.

This position is based in Dalby.

Reporting to the Communication and Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Developing and overseeing Council's website, engagement and digital platform management plan to drive measurable improvements in brand awareness, social media engagement, service utilisation, and revenue generation;
  • Designing and maintaining Council’s online and digital communication devices to ensure all tools provide current information and resources to both internal and external users;
  • Coordinating, implementing and maintaining Council's digital mediums including websites, social media accounts, and video hosting sites;
  • Championing the organisational narrative and collateral plan, developing communication and content strategy, internal and external communication strategies, and the proactive identification and monitoring of emergent reputational risk and issues.

About yourself

The successful applicant will have experience in:

  • Creating and conceptualising communication, engagement and design elements for print and digital platforms, that will support all functions of Council;
  • Designing, publishing and scheduling content for social media, website platforms and digital advertising;
  • Marketing and communications with an ability to think outside the square to recommend creative solutions;
  • Developing marketing solutions pertinent to the product with innovative thinking and the ability to assess analytics in marketing strategies.
