Your new role

We are looking for a real estate professional to bring their experience, local knowledge, and property management experience to this exciting role.

As our Senior Officer Leasing, you will oversee the tenant experience and coordination of the operations of all City based commercial and community leases, which includes community assets and commercial property; the airport; endowment; other marketable commercial spaces; and community and clubs.

You will be responsible for:
• Assisting with the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote listed properties and attract potential tenants or buyers
• Proactively securing lease renewals and engaging with existing tenants to assess their needs and preferences
• Ensuring vacant premises are advertised
• Negotiating rates, terms, and property conditions in line with WA property legislations and City policies
• Conducting opens for prospective tenants, displaying available spaces
• Being the primary conduit for all tenant communications
• Maintaining a current register of active leases and licences

Our ideal candidate

If you are an experienced real estate professional with a customer-focused and solutions-focused mindset, then we want to hear from you.

Do you have:
• WA Real Estate License and experience in commercial property management
• Current Property Management Registrations with up-to-date CPD points
• Local knowledge of commercial markets and real estate
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Initiative and the ability to self-manage workload
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset
• Excellent personal presentation and a professional attitude

Special requirements

Our successful candidate will need to have to have a current satisfactory National Police Screening, a current ‘C’ class drivers licence, and the right to work in Australia.
