We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Service Coordinator to join our team.

The Service Coordinator role is required to effectively plan and supervise the day-to-day operational management of the Mechanical Services Workshop which consists of a small team of mechanics and fabricators. This will include programming preventative maintenance and prioritising breakdown repairs to the Councils plant and fleet. It will also include customer contact and compilation of project quotations as well as maintaining a computer based plant maintenance and asset management system.
About you
You will have strong experience in the automotive, heavy road transport or heavy plant industries. A proven track record of ensuring goals are achieved including financial management and effective consultation and engagement of internal and external resources and stakeholders.
You will work collaboratively with a diverse team, be client focused and be part of the Council culture, embedding the values of wellbeing, inclusion, commitment and transparency into everything you do. This is at the heart of how we work. You will need a commitment to a values and behaviour’s-based leadership model and great listening skills.
