The role

We have a new exciting opportunity to join our Developmental Services team as the Team Leader Planning and Customer Interface. This role will lead a multi-disciplinary team of staff who deliver a customer focused service that supports the broader objectives of the Development Services Unit.

As the Team Leader, you will oversee a team of planners and business support staff who provide effective support across the department to ensure best practice is achieved in development application management, Council’s response to the NSW Planning Portal, local planning panel administration and other business initiatives as they relate to the Development Services department.  

You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of effective advice on Council’s land use and development policies including the provision of pre-development application advice which is accessible to a wide range of customers across the LGA. 

A background in planning or a related discipline, information technology or local government administration would be well considered.

Salary Range:  $107,336 to $128,169 pa + 11.5% superannuation + $1,000 pa transport allowance

35 hours per week with access to flexi-time
