Team Member Civil Roads

4 x Permanent Full Time – 36 hours, 

Location: Western Depot – Kemps Creek

Salary - $70,980.87 – $77,546.19 per year 11.5% superannuation

Liverpool City Council is experiencing major growth and with these new positions you will be part of a proactive team, providing a high level of service for the community of Liverpool in the construction and maintenance of major infrastructure.

About the Role:

The positions will involve working in teams from two to six members carrying out the day-to-day operations as directed by the Coordinator of Maintenance Delivery. Work will include asphalt and or drainage associated works along with general civil maintenance of street furniture, footpaths, roads and reserves. 

About You:

You will be required to have experience in both the construction and maintenance of roads, footpaths and drainage infrastructure, with the ability to assess safety situations and take appropriate action.

• Experience in operating and maintaining plant / equipment associated with civil construction, also minimum Blue traffic controller’s ticket required
• MR or HR Driver’s license and White card
• Demonstrated experience in the operation of excavator, loader and skid steer would be an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
• Experience carrying out works with the Work Health and safety Act and relevant Safe Work Procedures 

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
