The Role
Are you a proactive self-starter? Do you have experience developing industry training and development programs in the tourism sectors, such as the arts, food and beverage, attractions and cycling?
In this shared role of Tourism Industry Development Officer, you will assist operators to develop visitor experiences and /or events, enhance visitor signage, provide support to industry sectors in product development. In addition, you will coordinate industry training to forge stronger partnerships and strengthen the tourism product/experiences in the Greater Bendigo area.
About You
You will have demonstrated experience in tourism, marketing or related field, highly developed people skills and the ability to co-ordinate and develop tourism products and deliver industry training/events and activities.
Proficiency in the use of digital marketing, including websites, Customer Relation Management Software and social media platforms. You will have the ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with stakeholders are essential for this position.
If you hold tertiary qualifications and relevant experience tourism and marketing or a similar discipline, we welcome your application.
