Salary Range $77,406.68 - $89,958.96 plus 11.5% Superannuation
About the Role:
The purpose of the position is to manage Water Services Trade Waste and Backflow Prevention regulatory functions to ensure compliance with Council’s policies and legislative requirements. The position is actively involved in the development, review & implementation of relevant policies & procedures, issuing approvals and agreements; and inspecting and monitoring sites as per the implementation program.
The position will liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and interacts with community members.

Essential Criteria:
1. Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (Trade Waste) or equivalent with a minimum of 12 months experience in Trade Waste or Water industry, demonstrating an understanding of relevant legislations.
2. Demonstrated experience and technical competence in liquid trade waste and backflow prevention processes and procedures including inspection and monitoring of liquid trade wasteand backflow prevention sites and collection of wastewater samples.
3. Demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications, and operating devices effectively, embracing digital solutions for works activities to enable productivity facilitate day- to-day operations.
4. Ability to network effectively with key stakeholders in offering advice and support to delivering operational and maintenance services.
5. Hold a C Class drivers licence and WHS Induction card.
