Primary Objectives of the Position:
- To obtain a Certificate 3 in Business and complete the assigned industry relevant units of competency: Identify Goods and storage specifications, Consolidate Manifest Documentation, Secure Cargo.
- Responsible for the control, issue and receipt of material and stock at Councils stores.
Our Ideal Candidate has:
- Secondary education to at least Grade 10.
- Current Queensland “C” class drivers’ licence. (Licence type and condition appropriate to age of applicant) to enable the trainee
- to drive the courier van to complete stores runs across the region.
- Ability to deal face-to-face or over the phone with customers.
- Knowledge of or the ability to acquire knowledge of stores operation.
