Now, we're looking for a motivated and community-minded Waste Services Operator to join our dedicated Waste Services team.

About the role

As a Waste Services Operator, you’ll be on the front line of our kerbside waste and organics collection service—serving both rural and urban households and businesses. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Operating collection vehicles across the municipality
• Providing excellent customer service in the field
• Assisting with landfill operations, transfer station maintenance, and organics processing
• Ensuring our high standards of safety and service are met

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who takes pride in their work, cares about the environment, and thrives in a team setting. Ideally, you will have:

• A current HR licence (essential)
• A clean driving record
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• A genuine interest in sustainable waste management
• Great communication and customer service skills
• The ability to start early and work efficiently in the field
• Experience in the waste industry is a bonus, but not essential
