Waste Sustainability and Education Officer
The City seeks a passionate, highly organised waste management professional to design and lead innovative community-focused sustainability education programs. As part of a small team of experts, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as staff, schools, businesses, and community groups to promote sustainable waste practices and environmental responsibility.
To succeed, you’ll bring a strategic mindset, a proven track record of driving awareness and behaviour change, and experience creating impactful programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for engaging diverse audiences, building partnerships, and motivating action. You will also use data-driven insights to evaluate and refine initiatives, ensuring tangible outcomes and long-term community impact.
