Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.
WATER / WASTEWATER ANALYST (Permanent)
The role of the Water/Wastewater Analyst is to sample, analyse, validate and assess various elements of water and wastewater treatment within Griffith City Council and local business operations. These responsibilities help manage the integrity of Griffith City Council for regulatory compliance, health and safety, council asset protection, billing and process optimization.
Qualifications: The successful applicant will require either a food/winery industry or laboratory qualifications or plumbing qualifications or demonstrated experience in the food/winery industry or liquid trade waste industry experience and hold a current Australian Class C driver licence

Skills & Knowledge: The successful applicant will require excellent record keeping and reporting skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with very good working knowledge of various computer software packages.
Hours of work: 35 hours per week.
Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary range from $70,127.20 to $77,142.00 (Grade 10) Plus superannuation.
