We are seeking application for a Work Health and Safety advisor to join our team. This is a permanent, part-time position totalling 48.5 hours per fortnight.

About the role

We’re looking for someone who is passionate and committed to achieving Work Health and Safety goals and continuous improvement. This position will involve observations, inspections and WHS compliance across Council.

A keen eye for detail and accuracy is important as the Work Health and Safety advisor will conduct formal inspections and audits across Council worksites. They will also review Council’s work activities to identify hazards and implement preventative procedures and training to minimise incidents and injuries. The Work Health and Safety Advisor will also perform the duties relating to Workplace Rehabilitation and Return to Work.

The applicable salary is to a ceiling of Level 4 ($63,055pa) with the commencing salary dependent upon the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
