Full TimeKarratha Airport is seeking a motivated and experienced Airport Operations Team Leader to manage daily airport operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance across all airport activities.
This is an exciting leadership role with a high level of responsibility, overseeing a team of Airport Reporting Officers (ARO) while supporting the Airport Operations and Assets Coordinator (AOAC) in both airside and landside operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a dedicated team of AROs
• Coordinate airside areas, oversee ground support equipment
• Ensure smooth operations in collaboration with external agencies
• Support the implementation of safety protocols
• Assist in planning and managing airside infrastructure maintenance
• Collaborate with emergency services and ensure compliance with airport security protocols
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in airport operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Manual of Standards (MOS) Part 139, regulatory compliance, and workplace health and safety legislation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams and work autonomously.
• A valid C Class Driver’s License, and the ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
