Salary range: $67,977 per annum + 13% superannuation.
As part of your role, you’ll collaborate with the broader team responsible for caring for the City’s tree population. This includes risk management and strict adherence to council policies, procedures, and Work Health and Safety regulations. A deep understanding of the environmental impact and historical importance of trees within the Council area is crucial.

We are seeking an applicant who possesses expertise in arboriculture and practical experience in tree removal and maintenance activities. Additionally, you should have a comprehensive understanding of diverse landscapes, including bushland, gardens, streets, and reserves, with a focus on high-significance and high-profile areas.
In addition to your knowledge and experience, the following qualifications and licenses are essential: Certificate III in Arboriculture or equivalent, Tree Faller (advanced or intermediate), Current Medium Rigid Driver's Licence, Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card) and Provide First Aid Certification (HLTAID011).
