Salary Ranging from $100,946.04 - $117,316.16 + 11.5%S Superannuation per annum + 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance
The Role
The Asset Engineer Roads will be responsible for defect and condition inspections; capital program development including preparing renewal scope of works related to roads, bridges, retaining walls, and other structures, and street furniture; asset management maturity including updating and refining asset inventory data within Council’s asset information system and spatial data within Council’s spatial system; managing complex customer requests; road and bridge related grant funding applications; contract and financial management of contractors for the purposes of delivering specialist studies, reports, cost estimates or preliminary designs; and all other tasks that come with infrastructure ownership.
