The role:
Council is seeking a dedicated Building Surveyor to join our Planning, Building & Regulatory Services team. This position is responsible for efficiently and effectively providing building certification services, including the provision of advice and guidance to internal and external customers regarding the application of statutory codes and Council policies which regulate development and building, plumbing and drainage processes within the Shire.

What we need from you:
If you are an experienced Building Surveyor with a Degree qualification in Building Surveying or related field, then this opportunity is perfect for you! You will need to be eligible to obtain a minimum building surveyor-restricted (class 1 and 10 buildings) registration in accordance with the Building and Development Certifiers Act 2018.
You will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and will also be able to analyse problems and resolve disputes.
