Your New CareerCouncil’s Community Health and Development Team are responsible for leading the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of Council’s Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan.
The Coordinator Health and Community Development plays a crucial role in the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan, leading a coordinated approach to Council’s community development (including place-making), health and wellbeing plan, volunteering, gender equality and First Nations reconciliation across the organisation.
The position is responsible for embedding community development, health and wellbeing and social equity principles across Council’s programs, policies and services.

Key Selection Criteria
Mandatory Qualifications, Experience and Requirements
A complete international criminal history check is required if the person has worked or lived overseas for any period of time OR a complete national criminal history check is required if the person has only ever worked in Australia.
