Aged and Disability Services undertakes planning, policy, advocacy, partnership and service delivery roles in providing quality home and community support services for older people, and people with a disability and their support and in the development of strategic plans for our older community. About the Role:

This position will provide support and assistance to our delivered meals team by:

  • Ensuring accurate packing of the delivered meals stock into daily meal runs & assist with storage & stock control.
  • Assisting in the provision of an effective Delivered Meals Service for frail older people and people with disabilities through the distribution of meals.

The position may also, as required, provide social support assistance within our Community and Social Support teams.

Skills, experience and certificates:

  • Ability to apply health and safety and hygiene principles
  • Sound navigating and driving skills
  • Good and safe driving history
  • Self-motivated and customer service orientated skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and work reliably
  • Good written/verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with clients

Mandatory Pre-employment screenings:

  • Driver's Licence
  • Functional Capacity Assessment
  • In addition, willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check
  • Current First Aid / CPR Certificate, or willing to obtain
  • Knowledge of safe food handling processes
