ECONOMIC & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER - TRAINEE (12 month term appointment)
A traineeship with Griffith City Council will provide you with the opportunity to complete a qualification while learning skills in the local government sector under the guidance of Council staff and a training provider.
The Economic & Community Development Officer will provide administrative and marketing assistance with the implementation of programs in Economic & Community Development. The successful applicant will be involved in developing and leading programs for young people, the community and making a difference to the community of Griffith. This exciting opportunity will appeal to those seeking a full time fixed period of employment in 2025, while gaining qualification in Business or Marketing.
Qualifications: The successful applicant will require a current NSW Working with Children Check and a current Australian Class C Driver License. Please include copies of all relevant licenses and qualifications with your application.
To be considered for this position applicants must have a Working with Children Check Clearance Number for employment screening purposes if over 18 years of age.

Skills & Knowledge: The successful applicant will require experience with digital marketing and use of marketing applications and other software also experience in delivering events, projects or programs.
Hours of work: 35 hours per week.
Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary range from $63,046.36 to $69,351.88 (Grade 8) Plus Superannuation.
