At ARC we are building an accounting team to partner with our business units. Businesses which include everything from Airport Operations, Visitor Information Services to a $400M road reconstruction project. We want you to understand and guide the business units not just crunch the numbers.

As an Accountant you will be part of an integral part of a team delivering precise, timely, and customer- responsive finance and accounting services and systems within Council. In this role you’ll play a crucial part in upholding the integrity of our financial systems and data while providing exceptional support to our internal and external stakeholders.

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial services to improve and maintain the integrity of our financial system.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance with a solid understanding of accounting concepts and Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with a strong eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated time management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Certificate III in a related field or equivalent qualification.
