Permanent Full Time (38 hours per week) – 9 day fortnight

The role:
Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking General Labourer (known within Council as a Field Officer) to join the Works Delivery team in Merriwa. This is an entry level role which is a first step to commencing your career in Civil Construction and Maintenance. The role will be required to undertake various general labouring duties associated with the maintenance and construction of roads, paved areas, drainage facilities and parks within the local government area.

-$1064.90 - $ 1168.50 per 38 hour week + 11.5% super + allowances + the opportunity for salary progression

What we need from you:
To succeed in this role, you must hold a class C drivers licence, some previous labouring experience, be flexible. The successful candidate should also have experience in the operation and maintenance of hand tools and minor mechanical equipment and be able to work independently as required.
