About the Opportunity
Join us as an Industry Development Officer at Cardinia Shire, where you will play a pivotal role in driving industry development, attracting investment, and promoting sustainable development within our community and the broader southeast region.
You will make an impact by
- Conducting research and analysis of economic trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Developing initaitives to promote economic development and attract investment.
- Engaging with stakeholders to attract investment and support innovation and diversification..
- Collaborating with various entities to build partnerships for industry development projects.
- Representing the organisation in public forums to promote our economic development efforts.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and delivering projects in the Economic Development, Tourism, Agribusiness and/or Industry Development sectors.
- A current Victorian driver’s licence.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Proficient in using a variety of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
- Ability to liaise with external agencies/partners to help meet the needs of businesses and individuals.
- Ability to build and foster strategic relationships in the agribusiness and tourism sectors.
