About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a creative and passionate Library Programs and Outreach Officer to join our diverse library service.

The Library Program and Outreach Officer works within the Community Arts, Culture and Library Services Department at both Springvale and Dandenong Library sites with opportunity to deliver to outreach locations within the City of Greater Dandenong.

The role’s key responsibilities include the planning, development and high-quality project support of Library Service programs and events, including facilitating programs and the coordination of outreach visits across Greater Dandenong. The position also involves engaging stakeholders in the planning, delivery and evaluation of library programs and partnerships.

About You

The successful applicant will have excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrated program/project management experience, a passion for community engagement and development and an interest in innovative outreach and library branch programs.
