About the Role
You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing external and internal communication strategies.
  • Enhancing Council's image, brand and deeper engagement with the local community.
  • Driving Council's Digital Marketing Strategy, including our websites, social media and growing video content.
  • Implementing Council's Cultural Development Strategy, including delivering events, exhibitions, and public art.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • A high level of experience liaising with the community during public-facing projects and programs
  • An ability to manage high-profile public events and large-scale outdoor programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Public Relations, Marketing, Cultural Development or related fields.

Salary range - Your skills will be recognised with an attractive salary package of up to $178K (including super + car).
