About the role

 

This position is a permanent full-time role in the People and Safety team, based at the Moruya Administration Office. This position has a lead role in the delivery of workforce strategy, culture, capability framework, and talent acquisition initiatives that contribute to building a positive, collaborative culture aligned with Council values.

Your application will further demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant qualifications combined with high level knowledge and experience in human resources and/or a related field.
  • Ability to lead, coach and develop a team of high performing individuals.
  • High level of facilitation skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with Managers and staff, utilising effective communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience and passion for driving organisational culture, continuous improvement, and positive behavioural based programs.
  • Ability to lead the development of the key HR strategies along with inclusion and diversity, rewards and recognition, employee experience initiatives across Council to support staff programs for belonging and wellbeing.
