The City of Ballarat’s Marketing Team leads the region’s destination marketing activities. We work on a range of initiatives to impress potential visitors, build community pride, and inspire our locals to invite their friends and relatives to the region.
The Marketing Team also resources the marketing operations of the region’s Visitor Economy Partnership, Tourism Midwest Victoria. As the peak tourism body for the region, Tourism Midwest Victoria’s objective is to cultivate the Midwest Victorian region as a sustainable and thriving tourist destination.
The Role:
The position of Marketing Officer reports to the Coordinator Marketing and is responsible for the development and implementation of proactive, high-impact and multi-channel marketing tactics and campaigns that promote Ballarat.
The successful candidate will provide marketing services to position and amplify Ballarat as a destination to visit by leading the brand management, and development and implementation of innovative end-to-end marketing tactics and campaigns, as well as operate as a marketing advisor for other City of Ballarat business units.
This position is a 12 month maternity leave cover, commencing in November 2024.
