Salary range: $70,381 to $83,236 per annum + 13% superannuation.
As a Payroll Officer at City of Hobart, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our team. You'll be the first point of contact for payroll queries, providing expert advice and resolving issues while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This is a dynamic role where you’ll also support report generation, assist with software upgrades, and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes.

You’re an experienced numbers professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy. You thrive in fast-paced environments, have strong problem-solving skills, and can manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficient in payroll systems (or similar) and Microsoft Office, you’re adaptable to new software and committed to maintaining compliance. You’re also a team player who brings excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to every task. If you have a background in Payroll, HR, Finance, or Accounting and enjoy delivering great results, we’d love to hear from you!
