Temporary Full Time – 12 month parental leave cover (35 hours per week)
The role:
Council has an exciting career opportunity for a suitably experienced People & Culture Advisor ready to showcase their skills and make a positive impact in a progressive and community focused organisation in a 12 month, temporary parental relief role. Based at our Scone administration office and reporting directly to the Manager People & Culture, you will provide advice, guidance and support to frontline leaders and staff across a broad spectrum of people & culture related issues including recruitment and selection, induction, performance evaluation, counselling, discipline, training and career development.
This is a diverse and interesting role, for a highly motivated generalist with a passion for people and processes to join our dedicated team. Working in a fast paced environment this role will assist the team in facilitating and managing a positive employee experience during the employment life cycle.
What’s on Offer:
-$1424.20 to $1595.10 per 35 hour week + 11.5% super and the opportunity for salary progression

What we need from you:
-A tertiary qualification in HR or IR and experience in a HR generalist role
-High attention to detail and demonstrated experience in large and diverse organisation
-Demonstrated knowledge of employment practices, legislation and awards is essential
-The ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with internal customers and stake holders as well as external organisations/agencies
-Enthusiastic and proactive approach to life and work
-Curiosity and willingness to learn new practices and processes
