Council owns and operates the Cobar Shire & TAFE Library, Great Cobar Heritage Centre, Lilliane Brady Village (aged care facility), Children's Services, Youth & Community Centre as well as works depots in Euabalong and Cobar.

ABOUT YOU
Our preferred candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Project Management, be values driven and proactive, ambitious, highly organised, and a flexible team player who shows an elevated level of self-motivation to grow within this role.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in the successful management and completion of a diverse range of projects. In addition to possessing highly developed communication skills, the candidate will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build collaborative and productive stakeholder relationships in order to deliver allocated projects on time, within budget, and to the required standard.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Coordinator is responsible for safe and efficient delivery of a range of strategic and operational projects from design phase through to acquittal, using a proactive approach to anticipate issues and opportunities to ensure best value for money is being provided to meet Council and community requirements and expectations.
This full-time position is classified as Band 3 Level 3 (commencing at $95,695) under Council's salary system in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award, working a nine-day fortnight, 35 hours per week.
