About the role - Treatment Operator Recycled Water
An exciting full-time ongoing opportunity is available for a motivated individual to join our Recycled Water Treatment Team. This role requires a unique skill set, including an interest in the hands-on day to day operations and maintenance activities at a number of recycled water plants and sites servicing the Bairnsdale area, combined with the ability to facilitate the monitoring, testing, and continuous improvements of our wastewater treatment and application.
The right candidate may also have the opportunity to assist with delivery of minor renewals, plant upgrades and process improvement projects for facilities across the region.
This small collaborative team plays an essential role in how we collect, treat and reuse recycled water in our region, and have a direct impact on how effectively we utilise recycled water now and for the future sustainability of our local environment.
About you
We are looking for someone with curiosity, problem solving abilities and a keen interest in building a career in a role that directly contributes to the successful outcomes of our organisation.
This role would suit a candidate with a unique blend of hands-on practical skills in a mechanical maintenance, wastewater or plant/equipment operations, combined with a keen interest or experience in environmental or agricultural science. Experience in process monitoring, a trade-based certification, or relevant qualification is highly desirable.
