ABOUT THE ROLE

Council is seeking highly motivated and experienced civil engineer to join the Civil Projects team of its Project Delivery Department. This is a key position within the Project Delivery Department, and you will be required to assist the team and provide professional expertise.

ABOUT YOU

Liverpool City Council is looking for a Project Manager who will support the coordinator to develop, plan, deliver and carry out asset management of safe and effective roads and drainage infrastructure assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the Coordinator in project managing the delivery of infrastructure capital works program and achieving project and program delivery goals by actively coordinating and overseeing the planning, design,      procurement, construction and hand over processes across the organisation.
  • Providing high quality road and drainage infrastructure by monitoring the execution and completion of works to achieve required specifications, quality, safety and environmental standards, time and budget constraints.
  • Supporting the Coordinator by contributing to development of budget and managing and monitoring the program area budget.
  • Assisting in maximising Council’s access to and use of grant funds for road and drainage infrastructure assets by identifying sources and preparing sound grant submissions and applications.
