The City of Karratha is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Officer to join our City Projects Department. This exciting role involves managing
and delivering infrastructure projects across a wide range of capital works, contributing to the growth and development of the region. You will work closely with the Project Manager, providing essential support to ensure projects are executed successfully from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the planning, development, and execution of key infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery in line with project management best practices.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and community groups, to ensure smooth communication and project progress.
• Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and compliance with
fiscal guidelines. Assist with preparing funding applications and financial reports.
• Coordinate the tender process, manage contracts, and support procurement activities for assigned projects.
• Provide detailed progress reports and assist in the preparation of financial
documentation and acquittals.
• Support the investigation, feasibility studies, and development of future
projects, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision for the city’s infrastructure.
