We are not your typical council. We are a small boutique council in the heart of Sydney metropolitan area. We are currently looking for an experience and motivated Ranger to join our team. To ensure success in this role, you will be suitably qualified with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
•Respond to customer and stakeholder requests in a professional manner and within the requirement timeframes.
•Investigate and enforce compliance in relation to heavy vehicle parking, unattended vehicles, illegal rubbish dumping, the Companion Animals Act, the Local Orders policy and Tree Preservation Orders.
•Enforce policies such as use of A-Frames, outdoor dining permits and unauthorised trailer advertising.
•Willingness to handle and impound animals where required.
•Monitor building sites for breaches such as afterhours operation, noise complaints and sediment controls.
•Respond to pollution incidents and issue orders and/or fines as necessary.
You will have:
•Current Class C driver’s licence.
•Certificate IV in Regulatory Compliance or equivalent.
•Previous experience as a Ranger in a local government.
•Working knowledge of Local Government legislation including the Local Government Act, Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Companion Animals Act, Impounding Act, Road Rules and other relevant legislation.
•SEINS enforcement training.
