An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed, efficient and organised finance professional to assist with coordinating and leading the day-to-day operational finance functions of Council ensuring that statutory and legislative requirements are met whilst reporting to the Manager Financial Services.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the team to provide effective and efficient services with a focus on risk and continuous improvement across the accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, statutory reporting and insurance management functions.
Our ideal candidate is highly organised, has an acute attention to detail with the ability to prioritise urgent tasks, together with the ability to work with a wide range of key stakeholders to provide a superior level of service across the organisation. You will ensure the financial sustainability of Council whilst also identifying emerging trends and risks impacting Council’s operations and strategic priorities. Another key skill you will bring to Council is your demonstrated leadership experience in leading a team to enhance employee satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.
