The Role

Greater Bendigo is going through an exciting period of growth and change. You will get to make an impact in this exciting position by researching and preparing integrated strategies, plans and policies to guide future development in Greater Bendigo.

You get to work on a variety of planning scheme amendments, prepare and present reports, provide specialist advise to a range of stakeholders and coordinate community consultation activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, substantial experience in strategic land use planning particularly in progressing complex planning scheme amendments, knowledge of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 and Victorian Planning Provisions together with formal qualifications in urban and regional planning.

A satisfactory police check is required for this position.
