Join part of a fun and dynamic team that provides a safe, clean and hygienic environment for the community of the Blue Mountains and their guests at the Springwood Aquatic and Fitness Centre. As well as ensuring a safe and friendly aquatic environment you will assist in providing exceptional customer service including providing advice on centre activities, conditions of entry and hazards. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION
• Certificate 3 Aquatics
• Pool Lifeguard Award
• First Aid Certificate
• Working with Children Check
• Previous experience in the supervision and operation of public swimming pools
DESIRABLE
• Willingness to undertake training and multi skill and assist in other areas if required.
• Control evacuation to muster point
Position 1 21 hours per fortnight
Monday 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm (3.5 hours)
Wednesday 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm (3.5 hours)
Friday 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm (3.5 hours)
Position 2 23.75 hours per fortnight
Tuesday 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm (5 hours)
Thursday 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm (5 hours)
Every Second Friday 5:15 am to 12:30 pm (6.75 hours / 30 minute break)
Saturday 7:30 am to 12:30pm (5 hours)
Position 3 10 hours per fortnight
Sunday 7:30 am to 12:30 pm (5 hours)
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $59,414 (pro rata) gross per annum
+ 11.5% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary (if eligible)
+ annual award increase
