Swimming Pool Attendant (Casual)

Information on the Position:

Flinders Shire Council is seeking to appoint multiple Swimming Pool Attendants who will share the responsibility for the supervision and operation of the Hughenden Swimming Pool to provide quality safe swimming facilities that cater to the needs of the community.

As a representative of Council, the successful candidate will be required to perform tasks and duties relevant to role while demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to a high level of service and continuous improvement in the best interest of Council and the Community.

Council expects that all works are carried out in a safe, timely, efficient and effective manner, whilst projecting and promoting a professional, courteous and customer focused image and adhering to the values of Flinders Shire Council.

These positions will be classified as Level 2 under the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream B) Award – State 2017.

The hourly rate for these positions is $39.31 per hour (inclusive of a 23% casual loading) and the role will work on a rostered basis during pool opening times.
