THE POSITION:

The Organisational Development and Learning Coordinator plays a critical role in leading Council’s learning and organisational development strategy and initiatives.

The role facilitates the ongoing review of Council’s learning and development function, providing advice to managers, employees and the Executive on the changing environment and emerging issues and opportunities. The role develops learning, development and culture strategies that ensure work performance, promotes career advancement, and contributes to employee and organisational effectiveness.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Learning and Organisational Development and demonstrate the ability to create impactful solutions.

  • Relevant tertiary education qualifications (in disciplines such as human resources, organisational development, management or business) and/or extensive related experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in end-to-end learning and development practices, processes, procedures, and approaches
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop and deliver learning and development programs to a multidisciplinary organisation, including facilitating workshops
  • Experience conducting training needs analysis, identifying capability gaps, and making recommendations to leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to provide coaching and mentoring to all levels of staff
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing Learning Management Systems, including the development of e-learning content

Successful candidates will also demonstrate strong project management capabilities, emotional intelligence, and the ability to work collaboratively in both independent and team settings. Adaptability in a changing environment and a focus on continuous improvement are key traits that will contribute to the success in this role

SALARY & EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:

  • Permanent Full-Time position, (35 hours per week)
  • Starting salary of $ 111,164 p.a. with progression to $ 119,713 p.a. on demonstrated competencies, with performance progression to $ $130,215 p.a, plus 11.5% super
  • A mobile Telephone is provided
  • A car allowance is available
