In this highly specialised role, you will be providing input into traffic management and road safety improvement for all road users towards achieving integrated Transport Plan outcomes, conduct traffic and road safety investigations, coordinate Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) schemes and be involved in community consultation regarding infrastructure upgrades.

To perform at a high level, you require a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering/Traffic Engineering and have relevant experience in these areas. Any post graduate qualifications in traffic or transport engineering will be highly regarded. In addition to your professional qualifications and experience, you possess well developed written and verbal communication skills, as well as sound computer skills.

To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:

1. Significant experience in traffic or municipal engineering
2. Experience in preparing, submitting, and acquitting funding submissions
3. Transport modelling experience such as SIDRA and LinSig (desirable)

We are offering a gross salary range of $108,076 to $115, 081 per annum (dependent on skills and experience). 

In addition we offer:
