Job Description

The Albany Heritage Park is seeking an experienced, passionate and customer focused individual to fulfill the role of Visitor Experience Officer.

In this role, you will report directly to the Team Leader – NAC Operations. Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Providing outstanding customer service to visitors and customers of the Albany Heritage Park;
  • Preparing the National ANZAC Centre or Forts Store for daily visitation and operation;
  • Performing retail and ticket sales;
  • Providing general tourism information to visitors of Albany; and
  • Undertaking general administrative duties as required.

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, applicants will need excellent interpersonal skills, strong customer service focus and commitment, experience with cash handling and POS, knowledge of Albany and its attractions, sound technology skills and previous experience in a tourism-based customer service role. You will need to be available for 30 hours fortnight with set days every Friday and Saturday. There will be the potential for additional hours up to 44.5 hours per fortnight.
