The Libraries, Arts & Culture Department is seeking a dynamic and experienced Administration and Operations Support Officer. This multifaceted role will work between Footscray Library and the Civic Precinct and Community Hub, providing high level administrative support, including finance, reception and records management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide high level administrative support to the Department leadership team.
  • Ensure that accurate records are retained and champion record keeping across the Department.
  • Organise meetings and functions, support artist liaison and induction and maintain project tracking records.
  • Financial processing including generation of requisitions, purchase orders and expenditure tracking.
  • Support the design and implantation of administrative systems to increase efficiency.

About you:

You are meticulous, organised and able to juggle competing priorities.

To be considered for this role, you will have the following:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience providing high level administrative support.
  • High level computer literacy including MS Office suite
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Current Victorian driver's licence.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
