About the Role

This position is an exciting opportunity for your exceptional communication skills to shine. You will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day management of Council's communication channels. No two days will be the same as you work across a variety of projects from targeted campaigns to event promotions, advertising, asset development, production and media relations.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to have creative flair accompanied by proficient writing skills, an eye for detail and an ability to work well in a small team environment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Exceptional writing skills across a range of platforms demonstrating an ability to successfully deliver to different audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing digital content, curating communication schedules and adhering to social media policies.
  • Take initiative in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation within the organisation.
  • Appropriate qualifications in a discipline such as marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or similar field.

Salary range - Up to $124K per annum (incl super) dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate.
