BMCC's Customer Service Centres are a fast paced and sometimes challenging work environment where excellent customer service is delivered by friendly professional staff.

The successful candidate will provide advice, assistance and direction to Council's internal and external customers through our multi-service delivery channels which include telephone, face to face and electronic environments. Your duties will primarily involve handling customer enquiries, payments, maintaining information systems and standard operating procedures.

Certificate level qualifications with excellent communication skills and relevant work experience in a high volume, customer focussed and information-based service environment.  You will have proven experience in the use of technology for service delivery, including cashiering activities and experience with interpreting and explaining forms, plans and processes and in dealing with challenging customer interactions with people from diverse cultures, ages and backgrounds.

You must wear the uniform provided.

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $34.95 gross per hour
 + 25% casual loading
 + 11.5% superannuation 
 + performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary 
 + annual award increase
