  • Band 4 salary from $63,507-$67,689 per annum, plus superannuation
  • Located primarily at our brand new Djila-tjarriu Kindergarten

The Role:

An exciting opportunity currently exists to join a small team to deliver a high-quality educational program at the City of Ballarat’s brand- new Djila-tjarriu Kindergarten.

In this role, you will support our funded kindergarten program which operates Monday to Friday. As this is a new service, you will have the opportunity to be innovative and use your experience to develop and implement an exciting new curriculum alongside our early childhood teachers.

About You:

The successful applicant will be Diploma qualified and have an understanding of the Children’s Services Regulations and Early Years Frameworks.  

With a genuine interest in meeting the needs of children and their families, you will demonstrate an ability to support a holistic approach to the care, education and development of children that reflects an awareness of the wellbeing of children in your care. 

Strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of and respect for diverse social and cultural values and attitudes in relation to caring for children are crucial skills we’re looking for in the successful applicant.
