We are seeking qualified Early Childhood Educators with a degree in Early Childhood Education to deliver a high-quality educational program tailored to the needs of children aged 3 to 5 at various locations.

About the role:

These roles involve overseeing the education and care of preschool children aged 3-5 years by delivering an innovative and culturally sensitive program that supports their overall development. This includes ensuring safe, high-quality, and well-planned care in accordance with relevant regulations and frameworks, such as the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, the National Regulations 2011, the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, and the National Quality Framework.

Skills, experience and certificates:

  • Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education (Degree in Early Childhood) or qualifications deemed appropriate by the Australian Early Childhood Association are minimum requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Education and Care Service National Regulations 2011 and Education and Care Service National Law Act 2010
  • Community language is highly desirable
  • Awareness of cultural needs of families.
  • Effective communication with families, professionals, and people from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Conflict management skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Essential:

  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate and Anaphylaxis.
  • Asthma Prevention and Management Certificates and CPR.
  • Mandatory Reporting certificate

Mandatory Pre-Employment screening:

  • Police Check
  • Pre-employment medical
  • Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
