We have a unique opportunity for a Technical Officer Data Management to join our team!

What You Will Do:
As a Technical Officer – Data Management, you will play a key role in managing and optimising asset data to support decision-making, risk reduction, and the efficient use of resources within our organisation.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the technical aspects of asset management information systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility. By collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation, you will help ensure that asset data is aligned with the Asset Management System Competencies Framework, and support the achievement of Council’s corporate goals and objectives.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Data Analysis, Information Technology or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Ability to assist with developing, implementing and ongoing management of an asset information management system.
  • Proficiency in asset management software platforms, database management systems, and data visualization tools.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare reports, memorandums, and correspondence.
  • Basic understanding of legal and legislative requirements and Australian Standards relating to asset information management to ensure best practice implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is desirable.
