General Hand - Parks and Reserves

There is an exciting opportunity with the Parks and Reserves Team for a General Hand. The position will be required to perform a diverse range of tasks associated with the development and maintenance of Council's parks, reserves and streetscapes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operating specialised plant and equipment
• Perform work under limited supervision
• Maintain all associated plant and equipment relevant to position

This is a permanent full- time position, working 85 hours per fortnight.  

About you 

In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:

• Knowledge and experience in the maintenance of parks, reserves, verges and lawns
• Experience in operating plant and equipment safely
• Demonstrated understanding of relevant plant and equipment maintenance requirements

Benefits

Salary: $73,122.77 including overtime.
