Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week) – 9 day fortnight

The role:

Council is seeking a General Labourer (known within Council as a Field Officer) to join the Water & Sewer team.
The Field Officer will undertake general labouring and other duties whilst learning on the job under the direction of the Team Leader or Supervisor. Ensuring all works are carried out in a safe, timely, efficient and effective manner.

What we need from you:

If you have some knowledge of water and sewer infrastructure and operations, or plumbing, then that is great. If not, you will have transferable skills which should include e.g. the use of hand tools, ability to follow direction, good work ethic, and the physical ability to undertake labouring tasks then we can teach you the rest!
