About the position

The Human Resources Advisor will provide Human Resource services and advice to management and staff with the aim of ensuring that all human resourcing matters are dealt with in accordance with relevant legislation, the Local Government (State) Award, Council’s Our People Capability and Behaviour Framework and pertinent policies and procedures. The primary purpose of the job is to support decision making in relation to Human Resources matters.

About you

  • Degree qualification in Human Resource Management (or related equivalent qualification and/or experience).
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
  • Introduction to Return to Work Coordinator (desirable).
  • Membership of the Australian HR Institute (AHRI) (desirable).

We offer

  • This is a parental leave relief role. It will be a term contract with an anticipated end date of October 2025.
  • Full Time or Part Time working arrangement dependent upon applicant with an hourly range of 21 hours to 35 hours per week
  • Hourly Rate from $43.0317 to $48.3483 per hour (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 11.5% superannuation
