In this role, you will conduct inspections of subdivision civil engineering works to ensure that all required construction, dust, noise and environmental management plans are in accordance with the relevant state and local regulations. You will ensure that all associated works are constructed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications to ensure the interests of both the Council and the community are protected.

To be successful in this position, you will require a Diploma in Civil Engineering and completion of relevant asphalt and road construction training courses.  You will also have experience and knowledge in a road inspection, maintenance or construction environment, along with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.

To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria when completing your online application:

  1. Diploma in Civil Engineering, and completion of relevant road construction training courses
  2. Comprehensive skills and knowledge of the technical standards and specifications related to the design and construction of roads and drainage
  3. Demonstrated experience in the assessment of development applications with regard to road and drainage requirements, as well as traffic impact
  4. Experienced in contract and construction supervision in regard to civil constructions works

We are offering a gross annual salary range of $95,325 - $102,522 per annum and:

  • the opportunity to co-contribute a further 5% superannuation
